This fast-growing evergreen has thick, shiny, deep green, lobed leaves with reddish stems. New growth is a light green color. It rarely produces flowers, but if it does, they are whitish green in color.
It likes some morning sun, but prefers partial to full shade.

Just picked up a brain cactus from this delightful little shop, and I’m convinced I’ve increased the IQ of my plant collection by at least 40 points. This twisty little genius is the perfect blend of quirky and charming—like if Einstein were a succulent. The shop owner and staff clearly know their stuff and treated this cerebrally gifted cactus with the reverence it deserves. Highly recommend!
