Murdannia Loriformis, also called the “Brass Buttons” or “Lily Grass,” is a tropical perennial known for its slender, glossy green leaves and delicate lilac-purple blooms. Native to Southeast Asia, it grows in a low, spreading form, making it perfect for hanging baskets, mixed planters, or as a lush ground cover in warm climates. Its understated beauty and easy-going nature make it a lovely choice for adding soft texture and color to your plant collection.
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but will adapt to medium light. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent leaf scorch.
Water: Keep the soil evenly moist, allowing the top inch to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce watering in cooler months.
Pet Safety: Generally considered non-toxic to pets.
