The Creeping Fig is a charming, fast-growing plant that works well as a climbing or cascading vine. Here’s how to care for it:
• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its leaves.
• Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water when the top inch of soil feels slightly dry.
• Humidity: Loves high humidity, so mist regularly or place near a humidifier.
• Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 60-85°F. Protect it from cold drafts and extreme heat.
• Fertilizer: Feed every 4-6 weeks in spring and summer with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer.
• Pet Safety: Generally non-toxic to pets but can cause mild irritation if ingested, so keep an eye on curious animals.
