Nepenthes lowii is a rare and highly sought-after highland pitcher plant known for its unusual, almost alien-looking traps. Its pitchers have a flared rim and a distinctive lid that produces nectar to attract animals, making it one of the most fascinating species in any collection.
Light: Bright, indirect light. It can handle some gentle morning sun, but avoid strong direct sunlight which can scorch the leaves.
Water: Keep the soil consistently moist using distilled, rain, or reverse osmosis water only. Do not allow it to dry out, but avoid letting it sit in standing water.
Pet Safety: Not considered toxic, but not meant to be eaten. Keep out of reach of pets due to its sticky, insect-trapping pitchers.
