It produces bright yellow to orange flowers in warm seasons, followed by small, edible fruits. This drought-tolerant cactus thrives in full sun and well-draining soil, requiring infrequent watering—allowing the soil to dry completely between waterings. It is not pet-safe, as its spines and glochids can cause irritation. With its striking color and resilience, it makes a great addition to arid gardens or container displays.

Beautiful and healthy looking!! So happy! A couple of the tips broke off during shipping but it was wrapped wonderful and not at all the fault of Blossom + Branch. Just occupational hazard. I’m going to let the broken tips callous over and replant them and I think they will do just fine. I’m in love. You made my cactus dreams come true.
