Philodendron gloriosum is a stunning collector philodendron known for its large, velvety, heart-shaped leaves and striking pale veining. New leaves emerge with a soft, luxurious texture and can grow impressively large as the plant matures.
Unlike climbing philodendrons, Gloriosum is a crawler, growing horizontally along the soil rather than upward. A wide or rectangular planter gives its rhizome plenty of room to grow.
Light: Bright, indirect light
Water: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry between waterings
Soil: Chunky, well-draining aroid mix
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity
Growth Habit: Crawling
Pet Safe: No — toxic if ingested
