Rhaphidophora cryptantha (Shingle Plant)
Rhaphidophora cryptantha is a unique climbing aroid known for its tightly overlapping, silvery-green leaves that lay flat against a surface, creating a beautiful shingled appearance. As it matures and climbs, the foliage becomes larger while maintaining its striking texture. This uncommon tropical plant is perfect for mounting on a board or allowing to climb a moss pole, making it a stunning addition to any houseplant collection.
Light: Bright, indirect light.
Water: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. Avoid keeping the soil soggy.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity but adapts well to average household conditions.
Pet Safe: No. Toxic if ingested by pets.
