Saxifraga stolonifera, commonly called Strawberry Begonia, is a charming trailing plant with round, fuzzy green leaves marked by silver veining and red undersides. It sends out runner-like stolons that produce baby plantlets, similar to a strawberry plant.
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate medium light.
Water: Keep soil lightly moist, allowing the top inch to dry between waterings. Avoid letting it sit in water.
Pet safety: Considered non-toxic to pets.
This playful, easy-to-grow plant is perfect for hanging baskets, where its cascading runners can show off new baby plants.

Just picked up a brain cactus from this delightful little shop, and I’m convinced I’ve increased the IQ of my plant collection by at least 40 points. This twisty little genius is the perfect blend of quirky and charming—like if Einstein were a succulent.
