Pellionia pulchra, also known as the Watermelon Vine, is a fast-growing trailing plant with striking foliage—deep green leaves streaked with silvery veins that resemble the rind of a watermelon. It’s perfect for hanging baskets or as a lush cascading shelf plant.
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Too much sun can fade the leaf pattern.
Water: Keep soil lightly moist; do not let it dry out completely. Reduce watering in winter.
Pet safety: Not known to be toxic, but best kept out of reach of curious pets.
