Purple Rain Episcia
Known for its bold, velvety foliage, the Purple Rain Episcia shows off deep purple to burgundy leaves with silver markings and a shimmery finish. Small tubular flowers in shades of red or orange bloom intermittently, adding contrast to the richly colored foliage.
Light: Bright, indirect light. Too much sun can fade the color or scorch the leaves.
Water: Keep soil evenly moist, but avoid letting it sit in water. Prefers humidity and doesn’t like to fully dry out.
Pet Safety: Generally considered non-toxic to pets.
This vibrant trailing plant is ideal for hanging baskets or shelf edges where its dramatic foliage can really shine.

Just picked up a brain cactus from this delightful little shop, and I’m convinced I’ve increased the IQ of my plant collection by at least 40 points. This twisty little genius is the perfect blend of quirky and charming—like if Einstein were a succulent. The shop owner and staff clearly know their stuff and treated this cerebrally gifted cactus with the reverence it deserves. Highly recommend!
