The Cleistocactus winteri ‘Red’ is a striking trailing cactus with long, fuzzy stems and bold, reddish-pink blooms that pop in late spring or summer. Its dramatic cascading form makes it perfect for hanging baskets or ledges where it can really show off.
Light: Prefers bright, indirect to direct light. A sunny east- or south-facing window is ideal.
Water: Water when the top inch of soil is dry during the growing season; reduce watering in winter.
Pet safety: Not pet safe. The fine spines can irritate skin and be harmful if ingested.
A showy favorite for cactus lovers, the Red Rat Tail brings color and movement to any sunny indoor space.
