Rhipsalis is a genus of tropical, jungle cacti with long, cascading stems that range from thread-thin to flat and paddle-like. Unlike desert cacti, these epiphytic beauties thrive in humidity and dappled light, making them perfect for hanging planters indoors.
Light: Bright, indirect light is best. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the stems.
Water: Keep the soil lightly moist, allowing the top inch to dry between waterings. Water less in winter.
Pet Safety: Generally considered non-toxic to pets.
Rhipsalis adds a wild, untamed look to any space and is a great pick for trailing plant lovers and cactus fans alike.
